Nurses’ accommodation

The Health and Social Services Department provides accommodation for nurses and auxiliary staff in a number of dedicated properties around the island.

Most of the properties are communal living, however, John Henry Court has 42 self-contained ensuite bed-sits with their own kitchens and 24 self-contained flats.

Amballa Housing , the new Health and Social Services staff accommodation development, , comprises 2 x 1 bedroom apartments with kitchen, 4 ensuite bedsits with cooking facilities and 4 ensuite bedrooms in a self-contained shared flat.

Alderney can also provide accommodation in a number of self contained single person units or by sharing a newly acquired 2 bedroom house a short travelling distance from the hospital.
